About Graham

Hello! My name is Graham Walker and I am the founder and therapist of Deep Awakening Therapy & Consultation.

I am of English, Irish and Welsh ancestry on my father's side, and Russian and Ukrainian ancestry on my mother's side. I am blessed to live in the place of my birth, Campbell River, BC, the traditional and ancestral land of the Laich-kwil-tach First Nations. 

In addition to my professional role, I am a father, husband, son, brother and friend. I enjoy many different activities, including hiking in the forest, travelling, reading, writing, playing board games, dancing, painting, watching movies and more.

I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Adler University, a Graduate Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PATGC) from Vancouver Island University and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I have been working in the field of counselling therapy since 2011, and in the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy since 2021.

I am passionate about the intersection of spirituality, mythology, ritual and psychedelics and the potential of human healing and growth.
